Day 54: A medieval torture device designed for sucking snot from my baby’s nose

As a parent you get used to doing some pretty gross things pretty quickly (see my earlier posts about nappies!). However, the latest development in our life has been the advent of a small cold, resulting in us cracking open the “nose frida”, a device that looks like something a Doctor Who alien would use to relieve a human of their brain, but which is in fact a handy device for sucking the contents of a congested baby’s nose out. Seems grim, but is surprisingly effective and I just wish there was an adult version as I hate blowing my nose! However, when using this device it does feel like a particularly medieval form of torture…

Just remember to put the filter in if you want to avoid a tangy surprise.
